This past weekend I had the opportunity to meet 4 fabulous girls. I knew three of them from living in the community, and one was a new face but I learned so much about each of their beautiful personalities in the few hours we spent together.  Working with these girls, fellow photographer Amanda Stratton and fellow kinettes was so much fun and we had a total blast.

This year running of the title of Paddyfest Ambassador 2011 are Ashley Aylward, Taylor Danbrook, Victoria Hinschberger and Laura Kellum  These four girls will compete on Saturday March 5th to become this years Ambassador.  I hope that each enjoys the experience and take it all in to help them grow as individuals.

ASHLEY AYLWARD

ASHLEY IS THE 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF DEBBIE AYLWARD OF LISTOWEL. SHE IS CURRENTLY IN GRADE 11 AT LISTOWEL DISTRICT SECONDARY SCHOOL. ASHLEY LOVES HANGING OUT WITH HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND SHOPPING. ASHLEY SPENDS HER WINTER MONTHS SNOWMOBILING AND IN THE SUMMER LOVES TO BE AT THE BEACH PLAYING VOLLEYBALL. IN THE FUTURE, ASHLEY WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE BUSINESS FIELD.

TAYLOR DANBROOK

TAYLOR IS THE 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF ROSS DANBROOK AND KELLY HENDERSON OF LISTOWEL.  SHE IS IN GRADE 12 AT LISTOWEL DISTRICT SECONDARY SCHOOL. TAYLOR ENJOYS PHOTOGRAPHY AND PLAYING BASEBALL, BASKETBALL AND SKIING.  IN THE FUTURE, TAYLOR WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE A CAREER IN THE BUSINESS FIELD.

TAYLOR IS BEING SPONSORED BY STATE FARM INSURANCE.

VICTORIA HINSCHBERGER

VICTORIA IS THE 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF NICHOLE AND ROBERT HINSCHBERGER OF BRUSSELS. SHE IS A GRADE 12 STUDENT AT LISTOERL DISTRICT SECONDARY SCHOOL, AND WORKS PART-TIME AT HAMILTON PLACE ASSISTED LIVING IN LISTOWEL.  VICTORIA PLAYS ON THE LDSS SENIOR GIRLS SOCCER TEAM, AND ENJOYS WATCHING HOCKEY. IN THE FUTURE VICTORIA PLANS TO OBTAIN HER BACHELOR OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN NURSING AND FIND EMPLOYMENT IN A LARGE HOSPITAL OR NURSING FACILITY.

LAURA KELLUM

LAURA IS THE 17 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER OF DOUG AND JAN KELLUM OF LISTOWEL. LAURA IS A GRADE 12 STUDENT AT LISTOWEL DISTRICT SECONDARY SCHOOL, AND WORKS PART TIME AT DYNAFIT DYNAMIC FITNESS IN LISTOWEL. SHE ENJOYS SCRAPBOOKING, PLAYING AND COACHING BASEBALL, AND PHOTOGRAPHY. IN THE SUMMER MONTHS LAURA SPENDS HER TIME KNEE BOARDING AND WATER SKIING. IN THE FALL LAURA WILL BE ATTENDING GEORGIAN COLLEGE IN THE RECREATION AND LEADERSHIP PROGRAM.

Humouring me we went out side for 1 quick photo of each girl. Now the girls were a little upset about standing outside and in some snow but I have to say these are some of my favourite pics of the day.

We finished up the photo session with some fun photo booth style pictures at the 2011 Paddyfest Head quarters – Life’s a party…. There were so many laughs and I think the competition for the crown has already begun!

Finally the girls went out into the community together for the first time this year helping to collect Zehrs tapes to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.  They were not afraid to talk and mingle with customers, while supporting a great cause.

Thanks ladies for a wonderful day. I cannot wait to spend more time with you in the next month as Paddyfest gets underway!  The best of luck to each of you as the date gets closer.
