Christmas Mini’s

This year I was very excited to be offering Christmas Mini sessions! It is something that I have thought of doing but have not had the means or the location to do so.  I was very fortunate to have two wonderful business women ask me to do sessions at the back of their new store Life’s A Party. Michele and LeAnne have been business women in the town for many years and have recently started a new “party” store here in town. With the help of fellow photographer Amanda Stratton I was able to set up studio lights. I usually use natural light so this was something new for me to also try

The following photos are some of my favourites from the day! I hope you enjoy them as much as I do and that they get you into the spirit of christmas if you haven’t already found it!

First up is Little Miss J. I took Jaz’s pictures when she was 6 months and age has only made her more fun to photograph! We were laughing, squealing, working the crowd and evening playing peek a boo! Jazlin was certainly a fun session!

The last picture sure brings new meaning to say cheese!!!!!

The next children are two cute little girls who are no stranger to the blog! The perry girls showed up totally fashionable. Even though feeling a little under the weather, I was able to capture a few wonderful pictures.

What a better way to finish a session than to look at all the cool toys sitting right beside the set!

The final photos for this blog are of another two girls. I met the Zyta girls through programs at the North Perth Early Years Centre, so when they came walking through the door I knew we were in  for a lot of fun! We laughed and used many different props! Can I also add just how much I loved the girls hats and head bands!

Abby was such a patient girl waiting for her sister to be done all her pictures. She was colouring in her note book and I had the idea to make a letter to Santa. It only took a few tries to get the shot I was looking for! After that it was her time to shine!

Abby was a great helper at the end putting away all the christmas balls and as she did I snapped this picture!  (** sorry Abby but it is tooo cute to not post **)

Thanks again to Michele and LeAnne for letting me into your store. I had a fabulous day, and can’t wait to see what project we can come up with in the future!

I hope you enjoyed the expressions and the excitement through these children! More from the Mini sessions to come in the next few days
