The new year brought many new things for me. The most exciting though is my new camera. I had a whole lot of fun learning with my Canon Rebel XSi and it was a great starter camera, but I was ready to move up into a more professional camera. So off to Henry’s I went and purchased a Canon ESO 50D which has been a total change in the way my pictures are turning out.

So what does a kid do when they get a new toy. They play with it. So that is exactly what I did. I played!!! I felt like a little kid in a candy shop while photographing my cousins (Who are always up for a photo shoot with their big cousin Nicole).   In just a few minutes I was able to change settings and accomplish things I could not with the Rebel.

Don’t get me wrong I loved my Rebel, but it was time to upgrade and I am having so much fun shooting with my 50D. My camera is my baby and I hope that the inspiration I feel when using it comes out through the photos.
