The celebration of Milestones in ones life is something to get excited about. Whether it is birth, 1st birthday, or 30th birthday we all have many things to celebrate as we live life.  Well, in little Ms. Sydney’s case any little milestone is something to be celebrated…

Sydney was born premature and with that came a lot of things to over come! While she was at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto Sydney went through numerous tests and surgeries. One thing she received was a bead for everything that she went through.  As you can see she has a large number of beads. Looking at her beads I can see how strong this little girl truly is. Each bead is another indication that she is a fighter and LOVES life.  I just had to incorporate her beads into the session.

Sydney turns 1 today and so we decided to get together with Jenn, Steve and Libby the dog, at their home in Innisfill.  Jenn and Steve have been great friends of mine for years as we became like family while boating on Georgian Bay.   For many a first birthday, Cake smashes are becoming more popular. We had a cake but didn’t do the smash, as Syd wasn’t really ready for the whole SMASHING!!!! Her cake was incredible and even incorporated her beads as well.

The photos I want to share with you are a little sneak from the session.  Being with Sydney and the amazing smile she wears can brighten up even the darkest of days…
