The North Perth Arts and Cultural Committee held their first fundraising Gala in October, to raise money to help their organization promote the arts within the community.
The event was held at the Atwood Community Center and it was a night of pure art. The theme revolved around the 5 senses and there was something there for everyone.
From the decorations to the auction (both silent and live) and even the food, the night was something to be remembered. There was so much time and energy put into the night and I, as an artist in the community, would like to thank all the committee members for a job well done. It was a fabulous night and I can’t wait to hear about the next one you are hosting.
Now, on to my role for the night. My mom being the chair of the NPACC she asked if I would help out for the night. I agreed, not 100% sure what I would be doing but I ended up being on the PHOTO BOOTH and I had so much fun.
Photo Booth’s are a fun way for guests to get dressed up and have their photo taken in a less traditional way. I have seen many photo booths done by wedding photographers as a way for the guests and the wedding party to let loose at the reception, but had never tried one because at this time I do not have the studio flashes that I can take along with me. So I was very excited when I got to get the clothes and hats out of the dress up bin for this event.
The following images are ones that I took throughout the night please enjoy!
All in all it was a fabulous night! Thanks again to the NPACC for all their work!
