Happy Monday Morning everyone!!!

I have been working really hard in the last week to get some new posts up so keep an eye out for what is to come!!!

This week my theme is Balloons. I took this picture while at the Giant Tiger open house here in Listowel. They had these gigantic balloons on top of the store, that you could not miss.  Which drew me in and I could not resist a good photo!!!

The poem this week is from a book called Poems for young ones, but I think we all have a little child inside us all just looking for a way to come out and explore!

Balloons

Daddy, let’s go

To the park today.

And can we buy

A balloon on the way?

Beautiful and shiny,

Red, green and blue.

Can I please have one?

I love them! I do!

Oh think of it daddy,

Wouldn’t you like to be,

A balloon up in the sky,

Like a bird or a tree?

You’d be up so high

Where it’s clear and blue.

You could see everything

And have so much to do!

You could sing with the birds,

And dance in the wind,

Soar high with the eagles.

It just wouldn’t end.

Daddy, let’s go

To the park today.

And can we buy

A balloon on the way?
